The Morrigan was the personal ship of assassin-turned-templar Shay Patrick Cormac. The ship was acquired by Shay Cormac after he disposed of its former crew and took it over. Shay would continue to captain the ship throughout the Seven Years' War.
Funded by the wealth of the Templar Order, Shay Cormac equipped the ship with state-of-the-art weaponry such as puckle guns, carronades, and burning oil. Making it one of the most advanced warships at that time.
While featuring wolves on her sails and figurehead, The Morrigan was named after the Irish goddess of battle, strife, and sovereignty. Who according to Irish mythology would sometimes take a form of a crow, continuing games series tradition of bird-themed namesakes.
